6 hour per day Warehouse/Inventory/Delivery Specialist Bethel School District 52 - 4.5 Eugene, OR Job Details $20.54 - $26.01 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Delivery driving Material handling equipment operation Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Bethel School District is seeking qualified applicants for a 6 hours per day Warehouse/Inventory/Delivery Specialist for the Nutrition Services program. This position follows the academic school year (10 months). The hours for this position are expected to be 6:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., and are subject to change, depending on the needs of the schools and the District. Nature of Work To maintain an efficient and accurate nutrition service warehouse system and provide delivery service for the school district. Examples of Work These duties are illustrative only. Other duties may be assigned. Provides district delivery for mail, food, supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner Receives, inventories and reconciles with invoice, stores and distributes supplies, materials and equipment as directed Receives, secures, and delivers school funds according to district procedures Provides other related services as assigned Provides light maintenance and cleaning of equipment and kitchens during summer months Selection Factors Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Maintain safe driving record that meets district standards Ability to understand and implement warehousing systems Ability to safely operate pallet lifter and forklift, and work safely unsupervised Possess a valid Oregon Driver's license authorizing operation of district vehicles Ability to be bonded for purpose of receipt and deliver of district funds Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, co-workers, families and supervisors Ability to maintain an appropriate and legal level of confidentiality regarding students, staff, and other individuals Ability to maintain regular, predictable and prompt attendance Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or the equivalent. Any combination of experience and training that demonstrates possession of the requisite abilities. Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the work may be substituted for the required experience. Upon offer of employment applicants must obtain a fingerprint clearance from the Oregon Department of Education through a process authorized by the Bethel School District. Applicants would be responsible for the one-time fingerprint clearance fee. Special Requirements Possession or ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver's license before beginning the job.
