Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and supporting daily warehouse and production operations. Key Responsibilities Process daily inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records within NetSuite. Monitor inventory levels, shortages, excess inventory and long lead-time materials to support effective inventory control. Receive, inspect, verify, label, store, and handle incoming materials and related documentation. Ensures materials are properly identified, labeled, handled, and stored in designated inventory locations. Supports production kitting, material staging, shipping, receiving and overall material flow activities. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, transaction errors, and material variances. Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory to ensure inventory accuracy. Maintain organized stockroom, staging, and production support areas. Coordinates with Purchasing, Planning, and Quality regarding shortages, substitutions, nonconforming materials, and priority requirements. Generate and review inventory, shortage, and transaction reports within NetSuite. Support inventory control procedures, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with
ISO 9001-2015 / AS9100
standards Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree and/or 3-5 years related inventory / manufacturing experience. Familiarity with AS9100 or aerospace/defense manufacturing environments a plus. General understanding of inventory principles and best practices Experience in a manufacturing environment or warehouse environment Knowledge of ERP computer systems, MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task Strong work ethic Self-motivated with a desire to succeed Physical Requirements Ability to stand and sit for an extended period Ability to climb a ladder preferred but not necessary Move and handle boxes of inventory and other purchases, which entails lifting of up to 25 pounds (typically much lighter). $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
