Hybrid Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Supply Center Specialist to support an on-site scientific supply center in Collegeville, PA. This is a part-time, 20-hour-per-week hybrid position supporting laboratory researchers and personnel by maintaining inventory, receiving and organizing supplies, monitoring product availability, and ensuring an organized and professional supply center environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to provide excellent customer service in a scientific or laboratory environment. Schedule The position requires approximately 20 hours per week , with a combination of on-site and office-based work. Monday — On-Site | 4 Hours Manage and review inventory. Identify expired products. Reconcile physical inventory with inventory reflected in the system. Tuesday — On-Site | 4 Hours Approximately 10:00 AM-2:00 PM Unpack incoming orders. Put away and organize products. Clean up and dispose of packaging materials. Wednesday — Office/Remote | 4 Hours Flexible schedule, except for scheduled meetings. May need to return to the site if packages are delayed or require attention. Thursday — On-Site | 4 Hours Approximately 10:00 AM-2:00 PM Unpack incoming orders. Put away and organize products. Clean up and dispose of packaging materials. Friday — Office/Remote | 4 Hours Flexible schedule, except for scheduled meetings. May need to return to the site if packages are delayed or require attention.

This is a 20-hour-per-week part-time position . Schedule flexibility is required based on deliveries, customer needs, and business requirements. Essential Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to on-site scientists, laboratory personnel, lab managers, and procurement teams. Build strong relationships with customers and anticipate their supply needs. Manage daily inventory activities, including receiving, unpacking, restocking, rotating, and auditing products. Maintain accurate inventory and reconcile physical inventory against system records. Identify expired, damaged, or outdated products and take appropriate action. Maintain an organized, clean, and professional Supply Center. Maintain product merchandising and branding standards. Monitor product availability and support timely replenishment. Use internal inventory and Supply Center management systems to process orders and monitor usage. Review purchasing and usage trends to identify opportunities for improved product availability and customer service. Communicate customer feedback, product trends, and supply needs to commercial teams. Assist with product demonstrations, product shows, seminars, and other customer engagement activities. Identify opportunities for new products based on customer needs and purchasing trends. Complete all required training. Assist with training and onboarding new Supply Center Service Representatives as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, sales, research and development, laboratory support, inventory management, or another related field. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong customer-service mindset. Ability to quickly understand customer needs and respond appropriately. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage changing requirements. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field. Experience working in a laboratory, scientific, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environment. Experience with inventory management or supply chain operations. Familiarity with laboratory supplies and scientific products. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Work hours must generally align with normal business hours, delivery schedules, and customer availability. Daily travel to and from the client account location may be required; mileage is reimbursed . Ability to lift up to 15 pounds . May be required to stand for extended periods. Work may take place in an office, supply center, and scientific/laboratory environment. Ability to work on-site approximately 3 days per week , with flexibility for additional site visits when needed. Compensation $30.00 per hour
