Job Description

Inventory Support This position requires an active Secret clearance. The Inventory Support professional works closely with the Property Equipment Manager, and Field Service Representatives (FSRs), to sustain Force Protection (FP) equipment, such as: Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems (NIIS), vehicle scanners, barriers, Skywatch Towers, Armored Gate Houses and related parts and consumables throughout the AFCENT Area of Responsibility (AOR). The This role supports accountability, storage, movement, and availability of Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Material (GFM), contractor-acquired supplies, repair parts, tools, consumables, and force-protection equipment primarily at Shaw AFB, SC and in support of OCONUS locations. This role is intended as surge support and may not be renewed after January 2027.

Inventory Support :
$50,000 - $55,000 Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Inventory Support Responsibilities Include:
Support annual and directed physical inventories of GFP and other accountable property to meet AFCENT inventory reduction targets at Shaw AFB, SC. Assist with warehouse and storage activities, including marking, labeling, preservation, packaging, storage-location control, bin maintenance, warehouse-layout updates, and Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) for equipment and materials. Receive, inspect, count, identify, label, and record incoming equipment, repair parts, tools, materials, and consumables; verify shipments against packing lists, purchase documents, serial numbers, part numbers, National Stock Numbers (NSNs), quantities, condition codes, and shipping documentation. Assist the Property Equipment Manager to process shelf-life-controlled materials, including batteries, fluids, lubricants, sealants, adhesives, coolants, and hazardous materials; maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and comply with applicable handling, labeling, storage, and reporting requirements. Support domestic and international packaging, shipping, tracking, receiving, and delivery of equipment and repair parts; enter shipment details into the Management Information System (MIS) within required timeframes and assist with customs, export-control, hazardous-material, and carrier documentation. Facilitate equipment and parts disposition to achieve inventory reduction objectives. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Inventory Support Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required Valid driver's license Ability to safely lift, move, organize, package, store, and account for equipment and materials in warehouses, maintenance areas, and outdoor storage locations Experience inventorying and accounting for serialized equipment, repair parts, tools, consumables, and high-value technical assets
Preferred:
Experience with shipping and receiving, international logistics, export controls, customs documentation, and hazardous-material shipping requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and database/reporting tools Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail
Preferred:
