Job Description

JOHNSEN'S WHOLESALE FLORISTS, INC
. is a 4th generation family-run wholesale floral business operating in Beaumont, Texas, since 1938. Our goal is to provide our customers with the freshest cut flowers, live plants, and reliable supplies to benefit their success.
Duties:
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels
  • Utilize demand planning techniques to forecast future inventory needs
  • Utilize ERP system to manage inventory flow
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory processes
  • Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and assist in the development of corrective actions
  • Maintain organized and efficient storage of inventory in distribution centers or warehouses
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation to and from work location
  • Previous experience in materials management or inventory control
  • Proficiency in using forklifts or other material handling equipment
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and apply findings
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software
  • Knowledge of retail management principles and practices
  • Ability to perform some heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Schedule:
  • Full Time, 40 hours per week
