ROMCO is currently seeking Equipment Inventory Coordinator to join the team supporting the Carrollton, TX branch operations. Job Purpose The Equipment Inventory Coordinator will maintain the organization's inventory of equipment for sale and rent, handle ordering of machines and attachments, and maintain accurate records of all procurements. The Equipment Inventory Coordinator, serves as a key link between manufacturers, branches, finance, sales, and management teams to ensure equipment orders and inventory records are accurate, timely, and well-managed. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Coordinate and process new equipment and attachment orders with manufacturers and vendors. Receive and enter newly delivered equipment into inventory systems, ensuring complete and accurate records. Maintain electronic documentation for all equipment transactions, including purchase orders, acknowledgments, invoices, delivery updates, and related procurement records. Track and manage open orders and on-order inventory across multiple vendors, providing status updates to stakeholders throughout the organization. p Partner with branch personnel to collect required documentation and ensure equipment is properly entered into inventory. Review, approve, and process vendor invoices by matching them with purchase orders and receiving records. Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and vendors to support efficient procurement and delivery processes. Collaborate with sales, operations, finance, and leadership teams to coordinate equipment availability, shipping schedules, and inventory status. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance inventory management processes. Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of inventory coordination, purchasing, procurement, finance support, operations, or related experience preferred. Working Conditions and Additional Requirements This job operates in an office environment. Office hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional needs outside standard business hours to accommodate meetings, training and projects. Some travel may be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
