We are currently looking to add an Inventory Specialist to the team due to growth! The Inventory Specialist will be a key member of the team, reporting to the Inventory Manager. This role requires a significant understanding of the aerospace industry and the various components required to make each part that makes up our inventory.
Responsibilities:
Track inventory as it moves throughout the manufacturing process Ensure proper inventory levels on all components, tooling, etc that may need to be utilized for the jobs currently moving throughout the shop. Forecast inventory levels on future/upcoming jobs and have inventory in stock for when production date is scheduled. Perform cycle counts accurately Monitor demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply needs
Qualifications/ Skills:
3+ years' experience in aerospace or similar industry Knowledge of bonded structures and composite materials Knowledge of JobBoss Strong verbal and written communication skills Problem solving Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Office Suite Proactive critical thinking skills Ability to lift heavy aircraft parts/materials into bins/storage Data analysis To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
