Inventory Control Specialist Reports to:
Supply Chain Manager Job Purpose and Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the organizations inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for Inventory Specialist Track incoming and outgoing products. Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. Provide inventory control reports as required. Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting) Responsible for physically managing the inventory inside the warehouse. Maintain Inventory records are kept up to date. Research and resolve all keyed issues, adjustments, and discrepancies. Utilize a warehouse management system to maintain appropriate work documents. Devise ways to optimi9ze inventory control processes and procedures. Operate equipment to move, pick and stock inventory. Loading and unloading deliveries Maintain a safety while using equipment and tools. Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Graduates, Degree in business administration, computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience. Comfortable problem solving and decision-making using leadership and time management skills. Fluent in enterprise resource planning and critical thinking. Demonstrated strong work either and strict attention to detail. Will strive for continuous improvement. Able to interface with teams and conduct control testing. Confident at all times. Able to use a computer and other office technology such as C, WMS, Planograms, and Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Ability to work extended hours. Lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and greater than 50 lbs. The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
