Houston, TX Job Details Full-time $20 - $29 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications ERP systems Shipping and receiving inspections Attention to detail Warehouse experience Stock receiving Full Job Description Job Summary The Inventory Control Specialist keeps PoliLam's inventory records accurate, manages replenishment, and ensures outbound shipments are verified and deducted correctly from stock. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system, including unit of measure and product attribute data Verify and enter accurate starting counts for newly added SKUs upon receipt Perform cycle counts and periodic physical inventories; reconcile discrepancies Monitor stock levels and submit replenishment requests to the manufacturing facility based on sales velocity and lead times Verify outbound orders match sales orders and ensure inventory is deducted accurately upon shipment Investigate and resolve inventory variances from shipping errors, returns, or damaged goods Respond promptly to inventory inquiries from Inside Sales and the Warehouse Manager Support month-end inventory close and audit documentation Qualifications 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP or inventory management software Strong attention to detail and comfort reconciling numerical discrepancies Comfortable working in a warehouse setting; primarily office-based, but with significant warehouse floor time early on while learning SKUs and getting counts accurate
