With a growing fleet of trucks, we are dedicated to providing reliable and efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions to our community. Position Summary The Parts Runner / Inventory Specialist supports field and warehouse operations by safely delivering HVAC parts and equipment to job sites, receiving and organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate delivery and stock records. This role is responsible for meeting delivery schedules, protecting products in transit, and providing dependable service to technicians, customers, and team members. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and dependable attendance.
- Complete deliveries on time, meeting or exceeding scheduled delivery windows.
- Safely operate and maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and delivery equipment, including a trailer when required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to confirm vehicle safety and readiness.
- Load, secure, transport, unload, and organize HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Handle all products carefully to prevent damage during loading, transport, and delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and promptly document delays, damage, or other issues.
- Communicate with dispatchers and technicians to provide delivery updates and address concerns.
- Provide professional, courteous service to customers, vendors, and other team members.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Process returns and exchanges and respond to delivery- or inventory-related inquiries as needed.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies.
- Receive shipments, verify items, and stock materials in the appropriate warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse. Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old with three years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
- Truck delivery and material-handling experience, including use of a hand truck, dolly, and forklift.
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC training is preferred.
- Forklift certification required; EPA certification is a plus.
- Trailer-towing experience is preferred. Physical Requirements
- Drive a company vehicle to complete deliveries and pickups.
- Reach overhead to load, unload, retrieve, and organize materials.
- Lift and carry items weighing 75 pounds or more.
