Inventory Management and Reporting Specialist Third Coast - 4.7 Pearland, TX Job Details Full-time 12 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary Under the direction of the Inventory Audit and Reporting Manager, the Inventory Management and Reporting Specialist's main tasks are to: Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist the Inventory Audit and Reporting Manager in the daytoday management of inventory quantities, batch merges, counts, adjustments, and processes. Assist the Inventory Audit and Reporting Manager in the investigation of any outstanding bulk inventory discrepancies and reconfirmation of physical bulk inventory strapping quantities to determine if adjustments are needed. Assist the Inventory Audit and Reporting Manager in investigating and resolving any warehouse/yard inventory issues/discrepancies. Assist the Inventory Audit and Reporting Manager in documenting discrepancy findings and reconciling, reclassing, and /or adjusting inventory quantities. Compare verified physical and Microsoft Dynamics AX inventory to SAP, as applicable. Complete cycle counts in SAP and make verified adjustments, as applicable. Assist the Inventory Audit and Reporting Manager in the compilation of endofmonth inventory reports for customers and email these reports to each customer at the beginning of every month, as needed. Assist the Inventory Audit and Reporting Manager in tracking the verification of customer ending inventory for each month, as needed. Learn new systems and help in the implementation, data transfer, set up, and maintenance of said systems. Assist in existing system configuration and testing. Assist upper management and other personnel, when necessary, in developing, improving, and executing inventory processes. Communicate with plant personnel and assist regarding changes/improvements in the inventory tracking and management process. Assist in all physical inventory audits (internal & external), including escorting customers throughout the plant facilities during facilitation of this process, if necessary. Back up other team members within the Inventory Management Organization Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Perform area cleanup and other standard tasks during and at the end of an operation or workday. Exhibit and practice the Third Coast Way fundamental behaviors.
