You will support complex manufacturing lines globally in the company's Advanced Material Deposition Group. In this role, you will be a point of contact for the Business Unit leaders to assist with end-to-end supply planning. You will be able to perform global supply and inventory planning activities that complement the business strategy while embracing a culture focused on proactive behaviors that improve performance and productivity. What You'll Do Be the subject matter expert related to SAP processes and execution of all end-to-end supply chain functions including Forecasting & Demand Planning, Purchasing, Production Planning & Scheduling, Distribution Planning processes Serve as the primary business unit contact to mitigate risk of excess and obsolete inventory, finding outlets globally and cross stakeholder functions Actively mitigate MRB inventory in partnership with global stakeholders in the factories and cross functionally to support the business Oversee & optimize inventory levels globally; establish inputs for safety stock algorithm used to set safety stock levels; ensures days-on-hand (DOH) and overall inventory are optimized and that goals are met Coordinate MRP (Material Requirements Planning) settings across MRP controllers to be consistent with stocking and planning strategies Establish global stocking and planning strategies by SKU including make-to-stock (MTS), assemble-to order (ATO), and buy-to-order (BTO) to optimize inventory while delivering the required service level Manage Division Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) including collaboration with Production Planning & Operations, driving mitigation of supply constraints, implementing supply constraints into the Demand Plan as part of the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process Manage global supply versus demand and allocation decisions in collaboration with the Business Unit related to finished goods that are forecasted and distributed for sale as a part of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) Support On-Time Shipment (OTS) performance - coordinate improvement initiatives across functions globally What We Seek B.S. degree or equivalent experience required; degree in Operations or Supply Chain Management is a plus 1-3+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment, or inventory planning & control; master schedule is a plus Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Understanding of basic project management fundamentals to drive organizational alignment (IE. Gantt charts, project charters, and statement of work) Understanding of the basic principles and operations of ERP systems and the integration of company functions provided by an ERP system Proficient advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and the ability to turn data into information, conclusions & targeted action Ability to quickly extract and perform data analysis in ERP systems, analyzing supply vs demand, capacity and inventory data Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment under time constraints and ability to detect and challenge when direction or supply plans aren't sound Ability to effectively lead and facilitate meetings with cross functional teams at all organizational levels and drive appropriate actions using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI) Sound decision-making capability with the confidence to implement those decisions
