Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and manage our company's inventory processes. This role is essential in ensuring accurate inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting efficient supply chain operations. The successful candidate will utilize inventory management software and spreadsheets to maintain precise records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate inventory activities across various departments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to operational excellence within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Manage daily inventory operations, including tracking stock levels, recording transactions, and reconciling discrepancies. Utilize inventory management software to update records, generate reports, and monitor inventory movements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date spreadsheets to support inventory tracking and reporting needs. Conduct regular physical counts of inventory items and compare results with system records to identify variances. Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure optimal stock levels and timely replenishments. Develop and implement procedures for efficient inventory control and data accuracy. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, or potential issues, recommending corrective actions as needed. Support audits by providing detailed inventory reports and documentation. Experience Proven experience in inventory management or control roles within a similar industry preferred. Proficiency in using inventory management software is required. Strong skills in spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in recordkeeping. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills for coordinating with various departments and team members.
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
