Position Overview:
Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. (STi) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Clerk/Technician to provide logistics support and hardware tracking services in support of range systems, weapon systems, testing laboratories, industrial shops, and production acceptance operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics coordination, database management, and handling of classified materials under government procedures.
Responsibilities:
The Supply Clerk/Technician will perform a variety of tasks in support of
NUWCDIVKPT
logistics operations, including but not limited to: Input and closeout Torpedo Management Information System (TMIS) reports into Navy-wide databases (HTTDS/APCS) as needed. Support logistics operations involving planning, coordinating, executing, or evaluating logistical actions for range and weapon systems. Assist with acquisition support following NAVSEA Instruction 4200.19A and FAR 9.5, including: Performing acquisition strategy analysis. Conducting market research to develop draft Statements of Work (SOW), specifications, and related documents. Coordinate, develop, and adjust plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of all logistics requirements. Establish, execute, and maintain systems for tracking, documentation, and archival of logistics operations (estimated 12 maintenance actions per month). Collect, input, store, and maintain control of logistics and hardware tracking data/documents. Prepare and process shipping documents for government and commercial carriers, including data and media shipments. Maintain logs and records documenting logistical actions involving classified hardware (estimated 50 records per week). Escort and/or hand-carry classified hardware and information between NUWCDIVKPT, Bangor Naval Station, and test ranges. Maintain all required courier training and authorization.
Work Environment:
This position involves on-site work within Navy facilities and may require occasional travel to supporting ranges or locations for classified courier duties. Requirements
Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance is required. High school diploma or equivalent (required; additional logistics-related training preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database systems. Prior experience with Navy logistics systems such as TMIS, HTTDS, APCS, or equivalent desired. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality when handling classified material.
