REQUIREMENTS FOR CENTRAL SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION TECH

Education Minimum - Completed High School Diploma or GED 1 years of Supply Chain/warehouse experience in a hospital or clinic setting Knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of inventory management

JOB DUTIES OF CENTRAL SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION TECH

Distributes supplies and equipment to all departments of the hospital. Inventories and replenishes par and exchange carts. Restocks distribution center and surgery supply shelves. Performs other related duties in the receiving, surgery supply, and distribution center work areas as required. Handles, delivers, and stores all materials and freight received through the Southwest Washington Region (SWR). Delivers bulk orders to user departments and outside agencies in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures, including shipping functions of all materials and freight of the hospital. Maintains accurate records. Manages receipts for all items delivered to and shipped from the hospital. Regulates equipment management. Maintains overall cleanliness and organization of the receiving and supply work areas and individual unit storage areas.
