Donations of high-quality clothing and goods are sold in our boutique-like store to raise money for our food pantry. We're an organization that cares about those we serve and about our amazing staff and volunteers. Position Summary The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our pantry operates in an efficient, organized and safe manner. This position requires a blend of driving skills, manual labor, and organizational tasks to ensure our facilities run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Organize and maintain inventory on two floors. Ensure a clean and functioning space for onsite staff and community volunteers. Organize the walk-in freezer Ensure that pantry equipment is in working order (pallet jacks, vacuum, etc.) Act as backup or special pickups driver as needed. Stock shelves in pantry Maintain a clean facility - clean coolers weekly, mop/vacuum as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain physically active for the duration of the shift. Experience operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and ability to perform minor repairs. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and coordinate with drivers and volunteers. Detail-oriented and comfortable handling routine vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safe practices. Customer-focused with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
