Ready for the ride of your career? Then come join us. By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to work in a rewarding workplace with a strong sense of community. Ariens Company is seeking a proven Inventory Control Technician for our office in Kenosha, WI.
Pay:
Starting at $22/hr.
Shift:
Either Tuesday-Friday 6am-4:30pm or Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
THE DAY TO DAY
… Count materials or supplies in stock; and works with appropriate buyers to resolve discrepancies Coordinate/monitor distribution centers inventory on a daily basis Assist quality control in removing scrap from inventory Reconcile inventory balances Cycle count all finished goods and engines to ensure that system balances equal counted balances Investigate discrepancies and understand rationale behind all adjustments Manage inventory by identifying and eliminating problems Perform internal audits as necessary Assist and communicate directly with external auditors Work, support and assist material distribution leaders Performs other duties as assigned to meet customer needs Oversee finished goods inventory by leveraging advanced knowledge of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations
THE QUALIFICATIONS
… Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training Understand the interrelationships between all functional areas that affect inventory balances, and the associated transactions that occur Strong language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills; problem solving ability
THE WORK ENVIRONMENT
… Required to frequently walk, sit for at least 8-10 hours a day Required to lift at least 25 lbs. at varying frequencies Strong written and verbal communication skills Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
