Inventory Control Technician — Powered Industrial Truck Certified

Job Description

Is this you? Do you enjoy keeping everything in its place? You'll maintain accurate counts and make sure production areas are always stocked. Do you notice the small details? You'll verify incoming shipments, inspect for defects, and document every move. Do you like working with equipment? You'll run forklifts and the tools that keep materials flowing. Your core responsibilities Keep inventory accurate and ensure timely material supply to designated production zones. Operate equipment and tools essential to the role: forklifts, hand jacks, tape measures, calculators, computers, loading docks, cranes, scales, data collection devices, radios, and copy machines. Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition; flag any discrepancies. Spot defects and confirm material quality prior to stocking. Receive, organize, and store materials in the correct sector locations. Execute cycle counts and full physical counts for assigned items. Record and document all material shipments to production areas with precision. Use a computer to retrieve information and complete paperwork quickly and accurately. Follow daily pick lists and instructions, including manual placement, inter-warehouse transfers, and returns to stock. Load and unload materials from trailers and trucks safely. Perform daily equipment inspections, including checking fluid levels, and complete the checklist. Work safely, efficiently, and productively in accordance with company policy, protecting teammates around moving vehicles. Support the team to deliver a quality product. Show up on time for scheduled hours and maintain reliable attendance. Be willing and able to work mandatory overtime when required. Follow company policies and procedures; communicate effectively within a team setting. Take on other related tasks as assigned. Your toolkit Forklift license/certification (Powered Industrial Truck). Proficiency in inventory management and control practices. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
