This position is loced in the ARNG US Property and Fiscal Office (USP&FO), Logistics Division. Its purpose is to manage all phases of logistical support for a Training Site, including subsistence, general supply, cantonment supply, ammunition, property book control, transportion, and Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants (POL) management.
MAJOR DUTIES
1. Incumbent is responsible for the operion of the Post Subsistence, Area Cantonment, Ammunition, Property Book, Petroleum Supply, General Supply and Warehouse Sections. Assures an efficient safety program within the areas of responsibility. Serves as chairman of the installion menu board, responsible for adjusting menu items to meet the requirements of trainees during all temperure conditions. Receives requirements/reports from various organizions for ammunition; post, camp, and stion property; subsistence; janitorial and housekeeping supplies; petroleum products; medical supplies; and other merials to support repair and maintenance of real property. Programs orders to have supplies on hand when needed, and inities requirements to supporting agencies. 2. Supervises technicians, contract employees, and temporary employees engaged in support of the site to include subsistence, ammunition, billeting, warehouse and building issues. Responsible for the operion of the Logistical Support Operions Center. Develops and implements policies and programs required to provide maximum logistical support to using organizions conducting training the site. Establishes and publishes Training Site Standard Opering Procedures (SOPs) for procurement, storage, issue and return of property and supplies 3. Directs activities pertaining to property accounting and responsibility, supply economy, supply discipline, and maintenance of pertinent records. Directs activities concerned with salvage and protection of supply items. Inities and coordines instructions to ensure the proper training of subordines in all supply mters. Responsible for the preparion and timely submission of reports of petroleum serviceability and consumption; for ammunition reports covering forecasts from training commands, expenditures, and reports of malfunctions to higher headquarters to include

Responsible for the procurement and distribution of topographical maps of the training site and vicinity. Responsible for the receipt, storage and release of meriel requisitioned and consigned to the training site by ing training organizions. Formules the logistical support procedures covering the operion of activities under his/her supervision. 4. Establishes procedures for the uniform inventory of subsistence and ammunition items the close of each training period to ensure necessary stocks are available for the ensuing period. Establishes systemic procedures for final inventory of all meriel the close of the training season. Reports excess meriel for disposition. Responsible for the periodic inspection and maintenance of meriel in storage so as to elimine deteriorion and waste. Establishes procedures for the systemic issue and turn-in of property the beginning and closing of each training period. Provides each Ste concerned with a property loss report, ammunition consumption report, and subsistence cost report. Responsible for the orderly issue and turn-in of cantonment area buildings, administrive facilities and equipment to organizions conducting training. Manages funds for the procurement of logistical and administrive supplies to support the site. Submits requirements for site supplies and reports monthly expenditures to all branches. Applies proper management practices in the utilizion of resources (i.e., equipment, facilities, funds, manpower, space, and time) to effect expeditious and economical accomplishment of all tasks reled to the logistical mission of the site and the military organizions assigned and/or training. 5. Communices with organizions scheduled to utilize site facilities on mters of policy and directives and furnishes advice on policy and operions. Attends conferences and meetings with NGB personnel, other governmental agencies, higher headquarters, ste Nional Guard commands and activities on logistic mters, policies and directives. Responsible for establishment and conduct of pre-annual training mess school in accordance with existing directives. Coordines with Ste and higher headquarters in determining and fulfilling the logistical requirements for the support of units training the site. Conducts investigions of incidents involving burglaries, pilferage and vandalism of site property. 6. Performs other duties as assigned. May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required. GENERAL EXPERIENCE

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must have 1-year specialized experience equivalent to least the next lower grade. supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordining with other organizions on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulions to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
