Job Description

Monday - Friday, Occasional Half Days on Saturdays, Day Shift. $18.00/ hour Martinsburg, WV Location (Eagle Auto Parts) Do you know your car and truck parts like the back of your hand? SUMMARY:
The Inventory Specialist is a role that will manage and document inventory from late-model vehicles, ensuring that parts are accurately cataloged, priced, and prepared for resale. The Specialist will also assist with maintaining inventory data in our inventory system and online platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three months related experience, and/or training, or equivalent combination or education and experience required. Previous knowledge of automotive parts and systems necessary. Familiarity with selling merchandise online (ie: eBay) is a plus.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to read, write and interpret in English such as safety rules, operating and mechanical instructions and procedure manuals. Valid Driver's License required. Proficient in computer use, including inventory software and platforms.
Physical Demands:
"Moderate": Exerting up to 40 lbs of force occasionally, or up to 25 lbs of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Requires six or more hours of intermittent standing or walking in an eight-hour day. Sitting may be required intermittently and occasionally. Stooping and bending required occasionally. Must be able to see, listen and respond to dangerous situations.
Work Environment:
Usually working indoors with occasional work outdoors or working in various weather conditions. Valid Driver's License with excellent driving record required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean parts thoroughly to meet resale standards. Inspect and remove debris from vehicles to prepare for inventory. Inventory auto parts from late-model vehicles. Photograph auto parts for documentation and online sales. Accurately document the condition of auto parts, assign accurate pricing and maintain accurate records. Organize tasks efficiently and effectively. Must maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, sorting area and workstations neat; sweep and shovel. Always organize work area for safety and orderliness. Wear proper safety equipment when necessary. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or designated manager.
