Production Yard Equipment Coordinator and Inventory Specialist Our Vision:

We're looking for a Yard/Inventory Specialist & Material Coordinator to manage yard operations and material flow for oil and gas production equipment out of our Casper, Wyoming area location. This role owns inventory accuracy, receiving and dispatching equipment, and coordinating material needs between the yard, the field, and vendors. It's a hands-on position suited to someone with solid oilfield materials/logistics experience who can keep a busy yard organized and equipment moving on schedule.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, tag, and store incoming oil and gas production equipment and materials Maintain accurate, real-time inventory counts and records in the company's inventory/ERP system Pick, stage, and load/unload equipment and materials for deliveries, pickups, and field transfers Coordinate material movement between the yard, field locations, vendors, and internal teams Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits; research and resolve discrepancies Track equipment condition, maintenance status, and rental/return timelines Safely operate yard equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) per company safety policy Coordinate with procurement, operations, and field personnel on material needs and delivery schedules Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant yard, including proper storage and labeling Drive company vehicles to transport materials and equipment between the yard and field/well sites Complete required documentation: receiving reports, shipping manifests, and inventory adjustments

Skills and Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in yard operations, inventory/materials management, or logistics, ideally within oil and gas or industrial equipment environments Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (subject to MVR review) Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment (up to ~50 lbs regularly; heavier loads with mechanical assistance) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate inventory Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory system use Ability to work outdoors in variable Wyoming weather conditions Clear communication skills to coordinate across field, operations, and vendor teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with inventory/ERP management software (e.g., Coupa, Microsoft Dynamics/Navision, or similar platforms) Familiarity with oil and gas production equipment (wellheads, tanks, separators, pumps, and related components) Forklift certification OSHA safety training

Location & Work Environment:

Based in the Casper, Wyoming area, with occasional travel to field/well sites within the region Primarily an outdoor yard environment with year-round exposure to Wyoming weather conditions Physical role requiring extended periods of standing, walking, lifting, and driving Fast-paced setting supporting active oil and gas production operations
