Demolition Laborers About Us:

Alta Services (dba Alta Contracting) is a full-service demolition contractor providing commercial and industrial demolition services. With over 20 years in the construction industry, Alta is well-versed in all phases of commercial interior and exterior demolition. We are looking for field laborers to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Field Employee specializing in soft demolition, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of demolition tasks at our worksites. This hands-on position will require you to perform various soft demolition activities following established procedures.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct soft demolition tasks, including but not limited to removing fixtures, non-load-bearing walls, and interior components. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for soft demolition work. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment. Assist in the removal and disposal of debris and waste materials generated during demolition. Collaborate with the team to meet project timelines and objectives. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.

Experience & Qualifications:

Preferred 1 year of experience with standard demolition tools, hand tools and power tools. Must be able to legally work in the US.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Must have reliable transportation. This job requires constant walking, standing, and physically lifting debris; must be able to lift more than 50 pounds. Must be able to commute to Corona, CA Must be open to working days, nights & weekends if needed. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently. Must be open to working with others.
