Full Job Description Job Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting daily operations in a steel fabrication shop. Duties include operating forklifts to move materials, assisting with general labor tasks, and performing basic painting/coating of steel products. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Operate forklift to safely move, load, and unload steel materials Assist with general labor tasks including material handling and shop cleanup Prepare and paint steel products as needed Follow all safety procedures and company policies Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner Assist team members with various shop tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred) Experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment is a plus Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift Basic knowledge of tools and shop equipment Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable attendance and punctuality

Work Environment:

This position operates in a steel fabrication shop environment with exposure to dust, noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. The role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working both indoors and outdoors as needed.
