Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Indio and Coachella Valley Event Installers to join our team as a General Laborer. This role involves installing event equipment and breaking it down at the end of each event. Items include but not limited to Tables, Chairs, Dance Floors, String lights, Stages, Pipe and Drape and many other event related items. The position is primarily on-call, with work scheduled mainly from Friday through Sunday, including busy Saturday shifts. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and flexible scheduling, especially during peak event times. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on work within the event industry. Responsibilities Install event equipment efficiently and safely at various venues according to event specifications. Break down and pack up equipment after events, ensuring all items are properly secured and accounted for. Work primarily on weekends, with Saturday being the busiest day, often involving two four hour split shifts—an early morning shift and a late-night shift starting around 10 PM. Complete night shift pickups within a two-hour window; if finished early, still receive pay for the full four-hour shift. Maintain a clean and organized work area during setup and breakdown processes. Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate installation and breakdown activities efficiently. Experience Prior experience in general labor, event setup, or related physical work is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential qualities for success in this role. Flexibility to work on weekends and adapt to varying schedules based on event needs. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
