Enjoy working hard? You'll fit right in. If you're looking for an easy warehouse job, this probably isn't the right fit. This is a hands-on greenhouse position where shipping and receiving is your primary responsibility, but everyone jumps in to get the work done. You'll unload shipments, stage orders, load vehicles, move plants, care for product, clean work areas, and help throughout the nursery wherever needed. This position is physically demanding. You'll be on your feet all day, sometimes doing heavy labor, regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, moving plants and materials, and working indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. Who Thrives Here You'll enjoy this job if you: Like staying active and working with your hands Don't mind getting dirty, lifting, loading, cleaning, and doing physical work Are organized and pay attention to details Take initiative and communicate when something isn't right Take pride in doing quality work at a fast pace Are willing to jump in wherever the team needs help What You'll Do Unload incoming trucks safely and check SKUs, quantities, and product condition Put incoming plants and products in the correct locations Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipping Load trucks and customer vehicles while protecting plants from damage Follow scanning, labeling, and inventory movement procedures Report missing, damaged, or incorrect product immediately Move, organize, and relocate plants throughout the nursery Water, prune, weed, clean, and care for plants as needed Help customers and load their purchases when needed Sweep, clean, move carts and pallets, remove debris, and keep work areas organized Use forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other equipment as trained Jump in on other greenhouse and nursery tasks when the team needs help Physical Requirements Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly Work on your feet throughout the day Bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach frequently Perform repetitive physical tasks including loading, unloading, moving plants, and cleaning Work indoors and outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and dirt Why You'll Like It Here We're a family-run business that believes great teams are built by great people.
