Join the team responsible for maintaining the 419-acre campus renowned as one of the most beautiful campuses in California with expansive lawns, brick-lined walkways, courtyards, plazas, gardens and athletic fields. As a team member, you will be responsible for providing a variety of outdoor maintenance services that helps maintain and preserve the health and beauty of the campus.Position Summary:

•UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Equipment Working knowledge of equipment and materials used by the various trades, e.g., pick, shovel, sledge hammer, and a variety of garden / yard tools. (Required) Ability to work as part of a team through close collaboration with colleagues. (Required) Skill in reading standard English text in order to follow through on written orders and carry out assignments. (Required) Communication and writing skills to obtain or convey clear, concise and grammatically correct information. (Required) Working knowledge of the standard trade-related safety practices and methods. (Required) Ability to work overtime and weekends. (Required) Ability to skillfully operate a forklift and pallet jack in order to transport materials and equipment from loading sites to destination. (Preferred)Education, Licenses, Certifications, & Professional Affiliations:
Must possess, upon hire, and maintain a valid CA noncommercial Class C License in accordance with the California (CA) Department of Motor Vehicles. (Required) Must possess, upon hire, and maintain a valid CA Driver License (Required)Special Conditions of Employment:

Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.Pre-Placement Physical:
