About the Position We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Laborer to provide move management and facilities support services at Federal Trade Commission (FTC) locations. This position will support internal relocations, furniture and equipment moves, event setups, and other facility-related activities while maintaining strict safety, security, and privacy standards.

Location:

Washington, DC Key Responsibilities:

Safely handle, move, and set up office furniture, equipment, and materials between FTC locations and event sites Use ServiceNow to process and document service requests Operate government-owned vehicles, pallet jacks, and forklifts (training provided) Comply with all relevant OSHA, CDC, and FDA safety standards Follow FTC policies for security, privacy, and facilities management Crosstrain with teammates to ensure continuous support and coverage Work only during approved business hours (M-F, 7:00 am-5:00 pm), with any exceptions coordinated in advance

Requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance Physically able to lift and move heavy items safely Valid driver's license (commercial license a plus) Experience in facilities support, moving, or warehouse work preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures No handling of hazardous materials is required Must observe all federal holidays and building closure policies
