Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts Help prepare delivery routes by organizing packages and verifying shipment details Support drivers in safely navigating routes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load boxes into the vehicle, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement for safe transit Conduct manual lifting following safe lifting practices to move heavy or bulky items efficiently Aid in maintaining warehouse organization by moving inventory and ensuring work areas are clean and safe Communicate effectively with team members using mobile devices to coordinate deliveries and report issues promptly Skills Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable Experience with commercial driving, including box trucks, vans, or courier vehicles Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace Knowledge of delivery driving procedures, route navigation, and adhering to traffic regulations Excellent customer service skills to represent the company professionally during deliveries Ability to work efficiently in physically demanding environments involving moving, lifting, and manual handling tasks Join us if you're motivated to build a career in logistics with a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
