Part-time Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Waste Removal Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our drivers by riding along with him to empty the trash cans and other various items at each stop. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate various heavy equipment. If you have a passion for hard work, assisting 30A in maintaining a clean environment, and enjoy working outdoors, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. •This role is for Saturday mornings/afternoons only . Start time is typically 5am and will run until the route is completed

Duties:

Perform waste removal along 30A Assist in the operation of heavy equipment such as loaders, garbage trucks, and roll-off trucks as needed. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operated safely. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.

Experience:

Experience in heavy lifting is essential, as the role involves moving large quantities of waste materials. Previous experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and loaders, is preferred. Familiarity with sanitation practices and cleaning procedures is advantageous. A background in waste management or environmental services is a plus but not required. Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
