In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face delivering quality furniture to customers' homes and assisting with on-site assembly. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure customers receive their orders promptly and with exceptional service. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to combine driving, manual labor, and customer interaction in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver furniture to residential and commercial locations. Load and unload furniture items using equipment such as hand truck. Assist customers with furniture placement, setup, and basic assembly on-site, ensuring satisfaction. Follow established routes efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery schedules. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering product information, and ensuring a positive experience. Collaborate with team members to load, unload, and organize deliveries at the warehouse or storage facilities. Maintain safety standards during all phases of delivery and assembly, including heavy lifting and moving heavy items safely. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with furniture or heavy goods. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly, move furniture safely, and perform manual labor tasks efficiently. Knowledge of route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery schedules. Comfortable working in physically demanding environments involving heavy lifting, moving, and assembly tasks.
