Job Description
Full Job Description As a beer distributor we recycle all the packaging and containers that we can. Drivers pick up empties throughout the day and bring them back to the warehouse when their beer deliveries are completed. From there it is sorted and loaded onto trailers to be recycled . Summary All Material Sorters are responsible for maintaining a clean work area. It is expected that every Material Sorter employee will conduct his/her self in a professional manner at all times and perform all duties as assigned in a safe manner. Our Material Sorters must also be able to communicate professionally with their peers and management. Prepare and sort materials or products for recycling. Identify and remove hazardous substances safely. Clean recycling area by sweeping or picking up various types of debris including: broken glass, plastic, paper, cardboard. Sort materials, aluminum, glass, cardboard, paper or plastics, into appropriate containers for recycling. Other duties as assigned.
