Full-Time-Non-exempt Days/Hours of Operatio n : Weekly - Monday thru Friday, some Saturday and Sunday work maybe required. Job Description The Helper is responsible for safely and efficiently assisting the driver with loading material in the garbage truck. Required to assist in pushing dumpsters. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to adhere to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise. Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness. Maintains a feeling of pride in work; strives to achieve all goals. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid Drivers License Principal Responsibilities Push or Pull to dumpster or tote to the truck for service. Assist others on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items. Follow all Company safety policies and procedures, including stopping the packer in emergency situations. Inspect waste; remove unacceptable items as required. Communicate with driver to safely perform job, which may include backing, operating packer, pushing dumpsters. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
