Equipment Operator/Laborer York Township Highway Department Lombard, IL Job Details Full-time From $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Teamwork High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description Road Maintenance Worker Join the York Township Highway Department and become part of the team that helps keep our unincorporated roads safe and our road drainage systems working properly. Every day brings something different as our crew works together to maintain roadways and respond to the needs of our community. In this position, you will operate a variety of heavy equipment and assist with projects including: Snow plowing and ice control Road patching and paving Roadside restoration Drainage maintenance General road maintenance and other projects We are a small, hardworking crew that values teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn. If you enjoy working outdoors and taking pride in making a difference in your community, we'd love to hear from you. From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
