About the Position Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking a Laborer who will perform various general manual labor tasks. Why work for Groome Industrial? Key Responsibilities This is a 100% travel job; travel is provided in company vehicles Assists in maintaining an organized set of supplies and equipment. Ensures equipment is placed and returned to its proper storage location. Consistently keeps a clean, well-maintained, and organized work area. Always complies with all safety requirements. Complies with all company policies, and safety practices. Work productively as a member of the team. These responsibilities are subject to change at any time and may include other duties as assigned. What does it take to work for Groome Industrial? Must be able to work overtime and weekends, if required. Must be 18 years of age. Must have acceptable ID, pass a background check, drug screen, and physical. High school diploma or GED. Possession of a TWIC card is a plus but not a requirement. Must understand verbal and written instructions. Must be able to read and write. Must have basic math skills. Ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs. on occasion. May reach above shoulder height and below the waist frequently. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on occasion. Move in and around confined, cluttered and uneven areas. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects frequently. Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
