Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Support route driving by helping to organize packages for efficient delivery routes Help carry heavy or bulky items during deliveries, ensuring safe manual handling practices Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with recipients during drop-offs Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and moving items Collaborate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation of deliveries made Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas throughout the shift Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is preferred Experience in commercial driving or as a courier is advantageous; familiarity with box trucks and route driving is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual moving tasks safely and effectively Knowledge of driving techniques for manual transmission vehicles, including box trucks or similar vehicles Ability to work well as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring load & unload tasks Good communication skills for coordinating with drivers and customers; dependable with a strong work ethic This role is perfect for motivated individuals looking to build their skills in transportation, logistics, or customer service.
