Job Description Posted Thursday, July 9, 2026, 12:00 AM Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Polyethylene Laborer to work at our Waggaman, LA location. Insulation Operators are responsible for assisting the Insulation Shop Foreman in order to meet production deadlines.

Essential Duties:

Operate insulation equipment in accordance with the work order Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets Maintain quality standards Keep work area clean and orderly Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment Maintain a healthy and safe working environment

Shifts Available:

6:00am - 2:30pm 3:00pm - 1:30am

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience a plus Candidates must be able to measure quickly and accurately. Have exceptional attention to detail. Have basic computer knowledge. Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8-hour shift. Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers. Be able to work quickly and efficiently. Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
