We represent local, regional, and national brands in all segments of the adult beverage market, including beer, wine, RTDs, spirits, adult non-alc, and hemp beverages. This position offers the opportunity to become part of a great team of individuals driven to deliver the best quality craft beverages to the finest establishments in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a first shift position with a 6:00AM start time. Days of operation are normally Tuesday through Friday. The Driver Helper assists delivery drivers with the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products to customer locations. This role involves loading and unloading products, organizing deliveries, verifying orders, and providing professional customer service. The Driver Helper may also assist with general warehouse duties when needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Ride with delivery drivers and assist throughout assigned delivery routes.
- Load and unload cases, kegs, pallets, and other products safely and efficiently.
- Verify products against invoices or delivery paperwork to ensure orders are complete and accurate.
- Move products into customer-designated storage areas, including coolers, stockrooms, and other delivery locations.
- Assist with collecting and organizing empty kegs, pallets, totes, and returned products.
- Help keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and ready for use.
- Follow proper product-handling procedures to prevent damage or loss.
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers during deliveries.
- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations.
- Immediately report product discrepancies, damages, delivery issues, accidents, or safety concerns to the driver or supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as needed. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work. This includes frequent lifting and handling of cases of up to 50 pounds and kegs of up to 100 pounds.
- Previous delivery, warehouse, distribution, or material-handling experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Professional and respectful when interacting with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
