Overview Join our team as a Yard Laborer and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for supporting the efficient movement, handling, and organization of materials within our yard and warehouse environment. Your proactive approach will help ensure safety, accuracy, and smooth logistics flow. Responsibilities Load and unload materials using forklifts Assist with order picking and shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely delivery and distribution Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and load & unload machinery safely and efficiently Manage inventory through manual counts, and basic math calculations to maintain accurate stock levels Maintain a clean, organized yard by stacking pallets, arranging materials, and ensuring clear pathways Follow safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards to prevent accidents and injuries Support warehouse supervisors with daily operations, including materials handling and inventory management tasks Requirements Ability to operate forklifts- we will train Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads regularly Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments Commitment to adhering to safety protocols outlined by OSHA or similar regulatory agencies Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
