Guided by honesty and hands‑on leadership, top management oversees daily operations and gives every inquiry, order, and concern individual attention. Position Summary The General Helper supports daily operations within the wire‑manufacturing facility. This role adapts to changing organizational needs and focuses on material movement, basic labor tasks, machine operation support, and safety compliance to help maintain an efficient and organized production environment. Key Responsibilities Material Handling
- Move raw materials and finished goods using carts, pallet jacks, or other approved equipment.
- Lift and move items weighing 20 to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Operate Machines
- Operate production machines as needed, following all safety, training, and operational requirements. General Labor
- Perform a variety of assignments based on daily production needs, including:
- Moving reels of wire between workstations using a hand truck
- Operating a forklift to move pallets of raw materials
- Assisting with additional tasks that arise throughout the day Safety & Compliance
- Follow all OSHA, facility, and safety guidelines.
- Use PPE appropriately and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain cleaning logs, inspection sheets, and required documentation.
