Driver Helper, Seasonal

Pine State Beverage is currently looking for Seasonal Driver Helpers to assist our Transportation Division during the summer months. We would be looking for new hires to onboard when available in May or June, with an end date, late August and early September. In this position the seasonal Driver Helper assists the driver with delivering products to customer locations on a designated route and is responsible for the rotation and stocking of all products and other delivery tasks as assigned by the driver.

Rate of Pay:

$18.00 an hour

Work Schedule:

5:00am to finish Monday through Friday - the start time may fluctuate depending on the coverage route.

Position Requirements:

Minimum age would be 16 years of age. Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately. Basic math skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Professional appearance. Willingness to follow established safety procedures and regulations. Flexibility to work extended hours as needed. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. The ability to use a hand truck when needed.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Physical ability to repetitively lift, unload and maneuver bundles up to 35 lbs. consistently and up to 160 lbs. as needed for ½ barrel keg deliveries. Physical ability to maneuver loaded hand carts over a variety of surfaces and inclines. Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions: weather, temperature, lighting and noise as determined by circumstances at delivery accounts. Significant periods of driving time. #INDPSBopsjobs
