WP Davis Excavation is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to join our excavation and site construction team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and contributing wherever needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and able to work effectively as part of a crew. Responsibilities Assist equipment operators and other crew members with daily field operations Perform general site preparation, cleanup, and material handling Use hand and power tools safely and properly Assist with excavation, grading, drainage, utility, and sitework activities Install pipe, drainage structures, erosion controls, and other site materials Provide spotting and guidance for trucks and heavy equipment Check grades and measurements under the direction of a supervisor Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and materials Help maintain clean, safe, and efficient jobsites Follow company safety policies and supervisor instructions Complete other field-related duties as assigned Qualifications Construction or excavation experience is preferred but not required Willingness to learn excavation and site construction work Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and ground conditions Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly We do not offer relocation assistance at this time.

Pay:

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
