Job Description
Welcome to French Drain Man! We are a specialized company committed to resolving yard drainage issues with a focus on excellence. With 35 years of experience as a Michigan licensed building company, we identified the widespread neglect of drainage problems in the service industry. In response, we transitioned our building expertise into a dedicated yard drainage service, offering installations of French drains, yard drains, downspouts, sump systems, and more.
Qualifications:
Operating experience with at least one of the following: Excavator, Skid steer, Mini Loader, or Commercial Truck. Must have a minimum of two years of drain tile experience. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work procedures and prioritizing safe work practices. Strong teamwork skills, as tasks often require close collaboration with fellow team members. Excellent communication skills and the ability to take direction. Physical strength to operate heavy, power-driven equipment (lifting capability of 50lbs). Mandatory possession of a valid Driver's License. CDL License is a plus (company-sponsored CDL training available). Commitment to a Drug-Free Workplace.Responsibilities:
Install drainage tile in yards according to design specifications, ensuring the proper depth and grade, connecting couplers, and using tile tape. Assist in loading and unloading new rolls of drainage tile onto shipping trucks. Operate various equipment as needed, including Mini excavators, Skid steers, and trucks. Conduct site work such as shoveling, pipe laying, fine grading, operating machinery, setting laser-controlled grades, and locating existing lines and utilities. Perform pre and post-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation, including fueling and greasing fittings. Maintain daily communication with the Drainage Project Manager. Identify areas for improvement and contribute constructive suggestions for change. We value input from every team member to enhance our performance. Adhere to all company safety regulations.
