Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Laborer at a Wastewater Treatment Plant. This position primarily performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the maintenance and operation of a municipal wastewater collection and treatment system and may also receive general public works assignments. Experience Graduation from high school, GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to learn to operate and maintain various types of heavy and power driven equipment, particularly municipal sewer cleaning equipment. Reasonable knowledge of math, hydraulics, chemistry, electricity and mechanics as related to operation of wastewater systems. Possession, or attainment within the probationary period, of a valid State of Michigan Driver's license with a CDL certification Group B with air brakes and N-Tank Vehicle endorsement. Able to successfully pass a drug screen.
