Ambient Recruiting is partnering with a leading agricultural operation to hire dependable and hardworking Grain Operations Workers to support daily grain handling activities. This seasonal opportunity is expected to run through December for candidates who are a strong fit. It's a great opportunity for individuals with farming, construction, warehouse, mechanical, or general labor experience who enjoy hands-on work and want to gain valuable experience in a large-scale agricultural environment. As part of the grain operations team, you'll help keep grain moving safely and efficiently while supporting receiving, storage, loading, and general facility operations. What You'll Be Doing As a Grain Operations Worker, you'll: Assist with receiving, inspecting, storing, and loading corn and wheat Perform truck inspections and probing activities Operate grain handling and receiving equipment at truck dump areas Assist with rail and locomotive operations as needed Operate PLC systems for rail shed operations with training provided Assist with loading and unloading activities during harvest season Perform general facility housekeeping and cleaning Clean grain bins, pits, equipment, and work areas Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines Work with team members to support efficient grain movement Perform additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For Successful candidates will have: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous grain operations, farming, construction, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions Ability to adapt to changing schedules during peak harvest periods Safety-focused and dependable approach to work Preferred Qualifications Previous agricultural or grain-handling experience Farming or farm equipment experience Construction or general labor experience Warehouse or material-handling experience Mechanical aptitude Experience operating industrial or agricultural equipment Experience working around trucks, rail, or heavy equipment Experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right candidate! You'll spend your day assisting with grain receiving, loading, unloading, inspections, equipment operation, facility cleaning, and other tasks necessary to keep operations running safely and efficiently. The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds . Employees may also work at heights of up to 180 feet and may be exposed to dust, fumes, moderate noise, uneven surfaces, and changing weather conditions. 8:00 AM-8:00
PM Mid-August-End of September:
8:00 AM-4:30
PM October-December:
