A laborer is a worker who performs physical tasks and manual labor as part of their job. They are employed in a variety of industries from Warehousing to Manufacturing. Responsibilities can include assisting with shipping and receiving operations, moving equipment, and organizing inventory.
We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and hardworking General Laborer to join our team in Minneapolis. This entry-level role is responsible for supporting daily production by handling, picking, and cleaning parts, as well as loading pallets for shipment. No experience is necessary—we will train anyone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Part Handling:
Pick, count, and organize parts according to daily production orders.
Parts Cleaning:
Clean, deburr, or wipe down parts to prepare them for the next stage of production or packaging.
Staging & Palletizing:
Load cleaned and prepped parts onto pallets, ensuring items are stacked securely for safe transport.
General Support:
Keep work areas, tables, and floors clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Teamwork:
Follow daily direction from supervisors and work cooperatively with production staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Reliability:
Dependable transportation and a consistent track record of showing up on time ready to work.
Communication & Learning:
Strong listening skills and the ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions.
Experience:
No experience required (paid on-the-job training provided). Prior exposure to a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment is preferred, but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to routinely lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs unassisted throughout the workday. Standing, walking, bending, stooping, and stretching for extended periods during an 8-hour shift. Manual dexterity to grasp, hold, and clean small-to-medium parts. Comfort working in an active industrial/shop environment (noise, dust).
