We operate an agricultural commodity (grain) transload facility in Minneapolis, MN as well as in 2 other states, IL and SC. The Company receives locally sourced grain and grain by-products, transfers the product into shipping containers and prepares them for export. The team uses a fleet of yard hostlers, semi-trucks, and other heavy equipment for daily operation in the process of loading intermodal shipping containers for export. Ag Transfer is looking for individuals who enjoy working outside, are dependable and are ready to contribute to the Yard team! Job Description The Yard Laborer/Flex is a Driver in Training role part of our outdoor operation, responsible for flexing into different roles around the yard, assisting Drivers during the grain loading process. Primary responsibilities include installing bulkhead prior loading, maintaining bulkhead supplies in the loading area, keeping the floor scale cleared and general upkeep of surrounding area as well as the facility grounds during loading operations each day. Future opportunity to be cross-trained as Yard Driver (spotter).
START TIME IS 6
30am . This is a full-time position with full benefits and consistent overtime . Shift ends after all trucks are unloaded, typically between 3:30pm-5:00pm. Monday through Friday , occasional weekend hours. Job Requirements Must have a valid driver's license . Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and able to work in and tolerate a dusty environment. Must be able to lift bulkhead materials, maintain/load bulkheads supplies, and flex around the yard to support the loading needs. Dependable to start early and work full time with flexibility to work overtime hours. Will be expected to follow safety policies and procedures at all times. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug free workplace policy. Knowledge of basic data entry skills and able to use mobile apps. Good interpersonal communication skills to work as part of a small team. Strong work ethic, dependable for early start time, able to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with consistent attendance. Must be able to physically climb up and down transloading equipment and ladders safely. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and maintain balance throughout the day. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Ability to carry fifty (50) pounds.Note:

$20.00-21.00/hour depending on experience, Overtime Rate Applies!- Full-time with overtime consistently available . Overtime pay rate for hours worked over 40 per week.
