In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting and installing appliances to various destinations while ensuring compliance with all safety and transportation regulations. Follow designated routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload appliances efficiently. Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation). Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and report delays or issues. Skills Proven experience in driving a box truck, including route driving and delivery operations. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning techniques for efficient deliveries. Strong understanding of DOT requirements, and safety standards related to truck driving. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely during load & unload activities using appropriate equipment.
