  • Job Title: Manufacturing Laborer
  • Job Description
  • This role performs a variety of general labor tasks in a metal manufacturing environment, supporting welders, machine operators, and metal fabrication workers by preparing parts, handling materials, and assisting with loading and unloading. You use tape measures, hand tools, and power tools to help ensure smooth and efficient production.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Perform a wide range of general labor tasks within a metal manufacturing and production environment.

+ Prep parts for welders, machine operators, and metal fabrication workers to support efficient workflow.

+ Assist with material handling activities, including moving, staging, and organizing raw materials and finished parts.

+ Support loading and unloading of materials, components, and products safely and efficiently.

+ Use a tape measure accurately to mark, measure, and verify dimensions of parts and materials.

+ Operate hand tools and power tools in a safe and effective manner to assist with fabrication and production tasks.

+ Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while working with metal materials and fabrication equipment.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area to support smooth operations and safe working conditions.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Ability to perform general labor tasks in a manufacturing production environment.

+ Experience working in metal fabrication or metal manufacturing settings.

+ Proficiency using a tape measure accurately for measuring and marking materials.

+ Ability to safely use common hand tools in a production or fabrication environment.

+ Ability to safely operate power tools used in metal fabrication and general manufacturing work.

+ Capability to perform material handling tasks, including lifting, moving, loading, and unloading materials.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Any education or certifications related to the manufacturing industry are a bonus. + Experience operating an overhead crane is a bonus. + Experience in fabrication or metal fabrication is beneficial. + Comfort working in a general labor role supporting welders, machine operators, and fabrication workers.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $19.

00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
