Job Description

Waste Connections is hiring for a Truck Washer / Yard Laborer at our facility in Olive Branch, MS! As a Truck Washer / Yard Laborer , your primary responsibilities will include: Washing and cleaning trucks, trailers, containers, and other company equipment to maintain a professional appearance. Operating pressure washers, cleaning tools, and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Inspecting vehicles for cleanliness and reporting any visible damage or maintenance concerns to management. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe wash bay and yard area. Assisting with general yard duties, including litter pickup, sweeping, and housekeeping. Moving and staging vehicles within the yard as directed and in accordance with safety procedures. Supporting basic preventative maintenance efforts by checking fluid levels and reporting equipment issues. Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
What We Need From You:
One year of stable employment history in a labor, maintenance, or similar outdoor work environment preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day. Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. Dependable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred.
