H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations and businesses across North America. H2O is currently seeking a Beautification Laborer to join our team in Pascagoula, MS. The successful candidate will perform a variety of manual labor duties related to the maintenance, upkeep and beautification of city owned properties, parks, right-of-ways, medians, drainage areas and other public spaces. Work includes landscaping, grounds maintentance, litter removal, trimming, cleaning and other duties as assigned.

Performs mowing, edging, weed-eating, trimming, pruning and general landscaping duties.

Removes litter, debris, leaves, branches and other refuse from public areas.

Operates hand tools, power tools and grounds-maintenance equipment safely and properly.

Performs general clean up and maintenance of city facilities and outdoor areas.

Assists with seasonal beautification projects, special events and community improvment projects.

Assists other Public Works crews with general labor duties when needed.

Maintains work ares in a clean and safe condition.

Follows all city safety policies, procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.

Reports damaged equipment, hazardous conditions, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Skills We Are Looking For High school diploma or equivelant preferred.

Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work for extended periods.

Ability to operate hand tools and basic power equipment.

Ability to work as part of a crew.

Valid driver's license is required.

Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull and lift.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
